Sim School Terms & Conditions
Important Information from SIM SCHOOL: Anyone driving the Motion Simulator must complete the disclaimer which acknowledges acceptance and understanding of the following health & safety policies and procedures, user and operator guidelines
1. Your use of the motion simulator is at your own risk
2. By using the motion simulator you confirm your agreement to follow the reasonable instructions of the representatives of sim school in relation to your safely and use of the simulator
3. Using Sim Schools 6DOF motion simulators is a realistic and intense activity. With a moving seat and frame, which can be increased in intensity and realism dependant on the operators age, experience, strength and operator progress. We aim to start at a lower level and increase the intensity dependant on the above factors
4. During your use of the simulator you will behave responsibly in relation to yourself and others. You will not do anything to damage the equipment or cause any harm to yourself or others
5. You hereby permanently, irrevocable and forever waive any and all claims, liabilities, losses and damages now or in the future of any kind whatsoever against Sim school relating in any way to any personal injury, property damage, or any other injury, damage or loss resulting from the simulator and forever released and discharge the released parties from any and all liability with respect thereto. You further agree that you will indemnify and hold the released parties harmless from and against all claims arising out of, connected with or as a result of 1 your breach of these terms and or 2 your use of the simulator.
6. Please remain seated at ALL times, and DO NOT under any circumstances leave or attempt to leave the simulator frame/cage unless a member of Sim School staff advises you to do so. There is a specific process for entering and exiting the simulator which must be adhered to
7. Before using the simulator you should consider if there are any health reasons that would make it unsafe for you to use. If you suffer from motion sickness, high blood pressure, a heart condition, a serious psychiatric disorder, panic attacks, claustrophobia or if you have recently had any serious injuries, illness, diseases or other medical conditions you should not use the simulator. Anyone who has had a seizure, loss of awareness, or other symptom linked to an epileptic condition should consult a doctor before using the simulator. We recommend consulting a doctor before using the helmet or 3D experience (if these are included in your experience) if you are pregnant or have pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities. If you suffer with severe back impairments, severe back ache, spinal issues or disc related illness then we advise against the use of the motion simulator.
8. If you feel unwell whilst using the Simulator you should stop using it immediately, the operator will advise on the procedure for stop. It ‘may’ be possible to reduce the sensitivity of the drive to reduce any motion sickness that may be experienced so that you can continue, although this cannot be guaranteed. Any reason to finish a session due to users experience of motion sickness will not result in a refund.
9. Do not use the Simulator when you are excessively tired, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, are hung over, are under excess emotional distress or anxiety, or when suffering from cold, flu, headaches, migraines, or earaches, as the experience may increase your susceptibility to adverse symptoms and ability to concentrate
10. If you experience any adverse symptoms, do not drive or operate machinery, or engage in other visually or physically demanding activities until you have fully recovered from any symptoms.
11. The simulator must not be used by children under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
12. You should advise the motion simulation operative if there are any reasons that mean it may not be safe for you to use the simulator BEFORE you start using it.
13. We reserve the right to refuse you to use the simulator if our representative deem if to be unsafe for you to do so.
14. If you are under 1.2 metres tall you may not be able to use the simulator, although we have supports that we can provide that may assist any user under this height. The discretion of the simulator operative in continuing with a session will be final ensuring that the safe positioning of the user in the sim frame/cage can be obtained.
15. Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian when using the simulator and must always remain present in the viewing area behind the safety barrier throughout the experience.
16. Unless we are advised differently, we may use your photos and videos on our social media channels, website and or brochures flyers and other media.
17. Sim School do not exclude or limit their liability for any death and or personal injury caused by their negligence, for any fraudulent misrepresentation or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
18. These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising of or in connection with these terms and conditions or their subject matter or formation (including non contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputed or claims).
19. By providing your details and using the simulator you consent to transferring your personal data to sim school (Innovation Systems & Design Ltd - Trading as Dyno Developments) for the purposes of administering the use of the simulator.
20. If any of these terms and conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

2. On your visit to Sim School you will be required to read the important information we supply and sign a disclaimer form to confirm your understanding and acceptance of our health and safety processes and procedure along with confirming your fitness to use the simulator
3. Driver Health - Before booking a session consider where there are any health reasons that would make it unsafe for you to use it. If you suffer from motion sickness, high blood pressure, a heart condition, a serious psychiatric disorder, panic attacks, claustrophobia or if you have recently had any serious injuries, illness, diseases or other medical conditions you should not use the simulator. Sim School Academy – Subscription Policy & Terms
1. Introduction
Welcome to Sim School Academy, operated by Sim School
By creating an account, subscribing to Sim School Academy, or accessing any related services, content, or community (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not subscribe to or use the Services.
2. About Sim School Academy
Sim School Academy is an online driver development and coaching programme delivered through a subscription model.
At present, Sim School Academy is our only subscription-based service.
The Services are educational in nature and intended to help drivers improve understanding, confidence, and performance through structured coaching and guidance.
3. Subscription Access & Use
An active subscription grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access Sim School Academy for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
- Share your account or access with others
- Resell or redistribute content
- Record or publish academy materials without permission
We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve academy content and features over time.
4. Payment, Pricing & Billing
a. Payments
Subscriptions are billed using the payment methods available at checkout (e.g. debit or credit card).
All fees must be paid in full at the time of billing.
b. Recurring Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly), unless cancelled before the renewal date.
By subscribing, you authorise Sim School and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method automatically.
c. Pricing
Prices are displayed at checkout and may change in the future.
Price changes apply only to future billing periods, not already-paid ones.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or billing portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Access continues until that period expires
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
Stopping use of the Services or deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
6. Refund Policy
Except where required by UK consumer law, all subscription payments are non-refundable, including:
- Partial billing periods
- Unused time
- Early cancellations
UK Consumer Rights
UK and EU consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless digital content has already been accessed and this right was waived at checkout.
Any legally required refunds will be processed accordingly.
7. Failed or Missed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We may attempt to reprocess the payment
- Access to Sim School Academy may be restricted or suspended
- Continued failure may result in termination of access
8. Community Conduct
When engaging with Sim School Academy, including any community spaces (e.g. Discord or live sessions), you agree to:
- Be respectful, kind, and professional
- Avoid harassment, abuse, discrimination, or spam
- Not advertise or self-promote without permission
- Follow any posted community rules
Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent removal without refund.
9. Treatment of Coaches & Staff
All Sim School coaches, staff, and representatives must be treated with respect.
Abusive, threatening, or defamatory behaviour may result in immediate termination of access without refund, and further action where appropriate.
10. Intellectual Property
All content provided through Sim School Academy, including: videos, text, graphics, frameworks, and training materials are owned by Sim School and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, record, or resell any materials without written permission.
All rights are reserved.
11. Media, Recordings & Testimonials
By participating in coaching sessions or community activities, you acknowledge that:
- Sessions may be recorded for internal, training, or quality purposes
- Testimonials, feedback, or reviews you submit may be used in Sim School marketing unless you request otherwise
12. Performance Disclaimer
Sim School Academy provides educational and coaching guidance only.
We do not guarantee specific results, including:
- Lap times
- Race outcomes
- Competitive success
- Real-world driving performance
Results depend on individual effort, consistency, and external factors.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Sim School is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity
- Technical issues or service interruptions
- Dissatisfaction with progress or outcomes
Use of the Services is at your own risk.
14. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, without refund, if:
- These Terms are breached
- Content is misused or redistributed
- Behaviour is harmful or inappropriate
- Legal obligations require it
We may also modify or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of Sim School Academy after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
